Mandatory Meetings:
As described in your exhibitor packet, you may be required to attend at
least one informational meeting prior to Stratford Day. General/Business participants
must choose any one of the three meetings
listed. Crafters are invited to attend any meeting, but not required to
do so. FOOD VENDORS must attend the
special Food Meeting which is also attended by the Stratford Health
Department. Please make plans now to be sure your representative can
attend. All meetings are held at
Sterling House,
2283 Main Street, at 7:00 p.m. Attendance is recorded.
- Meetings will be announced next spring.
Please bring a non-perishable food item for
the Sterling House pantry.
Important Times:
- Stratford Day is June 6th, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- There is NO rain date!
- The event will be held in any weather. You take the same
chance as the volunteer organizers. Even with moderate showers in
2006 we had a great turnout. In 2001, with morning rains, we had a
very big crowd in the afternoon.
- Please make whatever weather preparations you deem necessary
to exhibit at our outdoor show. This includes bringing shade
and sunscreen to protect you from the brilliant sun we all
hope to see! Also be aware that the Town of Stratford no longer
sprays for insect control. You may want to bring appropriate
lotion or bug spray.
- Registration starts at 7:00 a.m.
- Street Closings to vehicular traffic are at the discretion
of the Stratford Police Department
with public safety in mind at all times.
- 7:00 a.m. Stratford Police will close roads to all thru vehicular
traffic
- 8:30 a.m. Vendor accessibility to Main Street closes
- However an earlier closing may be deemed necessary and will be at
the discretion of the
Stratford Police Department
with the public's
safety in mind.
