Lisa Furman and the Blue Flys

Lisa Furman and the BlueFLYS play an eclectic blend of Celtic/Americana/Bluegrass music. Joined by Chris Teskey on guitar, Dick Neal on mandolin/banjo and Lisa‘s thirteen-year-old daughter, Tahlia, on fiddle, the band performs lively dance tunes, driving bluegrass rhythms, western swing and a few sultry ballads. Lisa’s debut album, entitled, Lucky Girl, which was released in 2006, has received radio airplay on folk stations throughout New England. Visit www.LisaFurman.com for song samples.

Hash Clyde

Hash Clyde is an original / cover band initially formed by high school friends Matt Scerbo and Gregg Basbagill, and later, John Stavola and Amy Lafond. For the past 14 years we have been gigging, struggling, writing, recording, and now gigging again. Sometimes witty and sarcastic sometimes cynical and serious, at the heart of it, we are dedicated to making music that feels good. You can find us in local bars or visit our web site at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Hash-Clyde/23544120021

JUST FOR KICKS

Here we have 4 classic musicians doing what they do best. Hanging around sharing a few laughs and stories of past shows and hopes of scheduling future fun. That brings us to a full day of music and goodies with friends and family. So come celebrate the opening of the '09' festival season with some older rockin tunes from Beatles to Jimi and a few "old school" standards. If your not having fun-Dont do it! We aren't too serious about ourselves, so enjoy your day with us on the lawn.

REMEMBER: SOMETIMES YA GOTTA DO IT!     JUST FOR KICKS

The Bourbon Cowboys

The Bourbon Cowboys are a 4- piece country band based out of Milford, CT. The band features a mix of classic country, a touch of blues and general purpose good-time music. The band has played festivals and state fairs in New England and New York, and is ready to bring their good- time honky tonk music to Stratford Day. For more about the band please visit www.bourboncowboys.com

Mike Corwel

I am a singer, songwriter and Guitarist .I have always been doing something with music. Being more of a strummer/ rythem orientated player, you know, medium strings.lots of calluses! I love all music especially Rock n Roll and it's even better if there is an acoustic guitar in it.I write and play in alternate tunings(open D,G and E flat) so things can get a little crazy with being constantly surrounded by gutairs.Ya got to love the way a melody can stick in your head, and the story told in a good song. An educated writer is not my title but I know what I like and what's believable. My music lets me express myself in creative ways that would otherwise be forgotten.
